The Parish Pastoral Council is a consultative body, pastoral in nature, which strives to discern the movement of the Holy Spirit among God's people in the parish. The Council gives its help to the pastor in fostering pastoral activity; it investigates, under the authority of the pastor, all those things which pertain to pastoral works to ponder them, and to propose practical conclusions about them. It is essential that Council meetings occur in the context of prayer and openness to the Holy Spirit, so that at all times the common good will prevail. The pastor presides over the Parish Pastoral Council. The pastor is responsible for the final approval of Council recommendations concerning pastoral planning, programs, and services for the parish, as well as for their implementation.
The Council welcomes input from all parishoners.

I am graduate of the University of Dayton with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing. I’ve been married to my husband Nick for 29 years. My greatest accomplishment in life has been raising our three children: Chris, Brian and Meghan, who are all St. Albert School alumni. Since joining the parish in 1989, I have been a member of the school’s PTO board and have worked on many committees both for the school and the church. Currently, my husband and I are enjoying working with the engaged couples of St. Albert the Great through the Prepare and Enrich Couples Ministry. I feel very honored and blessed to be a part of this wonderful parish as well as the pastoral council. I am looking forward to working with Fr. Estok and the members of the parish council to help deepen and widen the communion of the faithful here at St. Albert the Great.
Dena, her husband Chris and family joined St. Albert the Great parish in 2006. They have three sons: Max (15), Sam (13) and Frankie (11), all of whom have attended St. Albert the Great School. Dena holds a B.A from Indiana University and an M.B.A from Baldwin Wallace College. During her career in the pharmaceutical industry, she has held sales and commercial leadership positions of increasing responsibility. Both Dena and Chris are very active in the school and church community. Dena served on the PTO board and Chris has been involved in the CYO program, both as a coach and football coordinator. The boys have participated in numerous school activities, including CYO athletics and the altar server program. Dena is excited to represent, serve and support the parish community through her efforts with the Pastoral Council.
My husband and I joined the parish in 2010 and our son, Toby, attends St. Albert the Great School. I am a graduate of West Virginia University and have been teaching at North Royalton Senior High School for 12 years. In 2014 I completed the RCIA program. From my first time attending Mass at St. Albert the Great, it felt as though God had put me where He intended me to be. This town and parish are home. I am active in parish and PTO activities including serving as treasurer for Cub Scout Pack #526. Raised to believe one should actively participate in their community and church, I continue to pray for guidance on how I can best serve. It is an honor to be part of the Parish Pastoral Council, and I look forward to doing whatever I can to build, support and maintain a strong, engaged body of believers at St. Albert the Great Parish.
Alan Snyder and his fiancé, Paula have been parishioners here at St. Albert the Great since 2010. They plan on getting married in November, 2013. Alan is the successful business owner of Snyder Bros. Painting, LLC, in North Royalton. Through his hard work and determination, his business has grown successfully. Alan strives for continued spiritual growth, including ways to use his God given talents to give back to people in the community. In collaboration with Fr. Estok & Mary Pat, they created “Painters with a Purpose.” Alan firmly believes that being a member of the PPC, he will be able to utilize his ambition and leadership skills to help make a difference in the community. He looks forward to promoting the spiritual mission of reaching out to those in need.
Hi I am Tom Sawyer and married to my wife Becky for 45 years and has been member of St. Albert the Great for the past 10 years. I recently retired from a career as a retail business executive and currently work part time in retail consulting. We have 3 sons and 8 grandchildren. Presently I am involved as a Lector, Eucharistic Minister, LinC facilitator, Liturgy Commission, Eucharistic Adorer, Legion of Mary, and have been involved in numerous other ministries and programs over the past 30 years of church involvement (server, youth ministry, couples ministry, Bible studies, small groups, & renewals). I feel that the Parish Pastoral Council is a wonderful and important conduit between the parishioners and the pastoral staff in conveying an understanding of our mission and the vision of Pope Francis, Bishop Lennon, and Fr. Estok with the parish while communicating their needs and concerns. Guided by the Holy Spirit, centered in the Eucharist, in prayer and action, I believe that our parish family life can be enhanced as our community is engaged in love and compassion to all in need.
Hi, I am a graduate of Padua Franciscan High School and the Culinary Institute of America. Compass is the largest contract foodservice company in the world with operations in over 50 countries, serving 4 billion meals a year. As a member of the Parish Pastoral Council, I hope to engage a diverse community of believers through prayer, leadership and service, encouraging a trustful, prayerful community that revere the unique dignity of every person.

Frank Campagna and his wife, Kelly, have been Parishioners of St. Albert the Great for almost 10 years. We have 3 boys, Jacob (14) , Joshua (12) , and Jonah (9) – all who currently attend St. Albert the Great School and are very active in sports. I hold an MBA from Cleveland State University with an emphasis on Accounting, and a BBA from Kent State University in Finance. I have spent most of my career working in Public Accounting as an Internal Audit and Risk Management Specialist and am currently a Partner in the CBIZ Risk & Advisory Services practice. I am a Eucharistic Minister at the Church and I have coached football, basketball, and baseball for many years (both CYO and community based). My family and I feel so very Blessed to have the opportunity to serve our community and our God through this wonderful Parish. Amazing things continue to happen the more we are involved. I hope to be a Steward to the many Parishioners looking for their way to get connected in one or more of our ministries or small groups.
